Personally, I find this texture a little too aggressive, but some people love them. It feels very similar to skateboard tape or fine sandpaper. If you like an aggressive grip, the granulate texture is for you. While they do fit very tightly and securely, they can be removed if you want, though you probably won’t want to (just sayin’). Talon Grips come in two different textures, rubber and granulate. Essentially they work just like you would expect – you peel off the backing, line them up per the cutouts and/or the included diagram, and they wrap around the grip of your gun. Talon Grips are one piece custom decal style adhesive grips for many popular polymer pistols. My first thought was to wrap the grip in skateboard tape to fix the problem, but then I found Talon Grips and decided to give them a try. Whenever I shot more than 50 or 100 rounds in one range session, the checkering would really start to dig into my middle finger. A year or so ago, I was having trouble with the front checkering on the grip of my Kahr CM9.
